رَبِّ إِنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbi inni massaniyad-durru wa anta arhamur-rahimeen
My Lord, affliction has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
There are two kinds here: what you say over your own body, and what you say at someone else's bedside.
“As'alullaha al-'azeem rabbal-'arshil-'azeem an yashfiyak” is said seven times to a sick person, and Abu Dawud 3106 reports that Allah cures them if their time has not come. “Allahumma rabban-nas, adhhibil-ba's” was said by the Prophet ﷺ while wiping with his right hand. Say these alongside medicine, never instead of it.
